headlight-female-connector
Himiway Headlight (Female Connector)

The detail that matters most on this headlight is the connector: this is the female-connector version, and connector type is what decides whether it will plug into your bike's loom or not. Check the connector on your existing headlight lead before ordering, because an otherwise identical light with the wrong connector gender will not mate with the harness. The fitment note on this unit is specific on one point: on the D3, it suits only bikes whose frame number begins 'MT'.

Beyond the connector, this is the brighter LED headlight, rated at more than twice the output of the traditional headlight fitted as standard. It carries a wide, well-transmitted beam that spreads light over a usefully large area rather than throwing a narrow spot, which suits city streets and open roads as well as trail use. It is listed as fitting several models.

Everything needed to mount the light and wire it into the bike's electrical system is supplied with it, so there is nothing further to source. Worth noting if you are buying a new bike: a headlight is already included in the accessories supplied with Himiway e-bikes, so this one is for upgrading or replacing an existing unit.

Before You Order

Confirm your bike's harness takes a female connector

On the D3, only frame numbers beginning 'MT' are compatible

Mounting and wiring hardware is supplied with the light

New Himiway e-bikes already include a headlight in the accessories
