Two motors are offered, 2 hp and 3 hp, both on 230 V, and both are intended for water over half an acre.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe trumpet form throws a wide, flared pattern measuring roughly 12 feet high and 18 feet across, and underneath that display the unit is pumping hard: 700 gallons per minute with the 2 hp motor and 800 gallons per minute with the 3 hp. Moving that much water continuously keeps the pond circulating rather than stratifying, raises dissolved oxygen, and takes pressure off the algae growth and surface debris that build up in standing water.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBoth motors are oil-free stainless-steel submersible units rated for round-the-clock operation. There is no oil to change, no service interval to track, and no control box to mount on the bank. Fresh and salt water are both approved, and 3-phase and 50 Hz versions are available alongside the standard single-phase 60 Hz build.
