The ACOPOWER 12V DC to DC On-Board Battery Charger tops off your house battery bank directly from your vehicle's starter battery or alternator, making it a solid option for RVs, vans, trucks, and boats that need a dedicated charging path between two battery banks. A front-facing knob lets you select the correct profile for LiFePO4, AGM, flooded, gel, or lithium batteries, so the charger applies the right charging voltage for your setup.

Charging happens in three stages — bulk, boost, and float — which lets the unit push power in quickly at first and then taper off automatically as the battery approaches full charge, protecting long-term battery health. Input and output are electrically isolated, which helps prevent voltage transmission issues from interfering with your house battery charging, and the charger includes over-voltage, over-temperature, and reverse-polarity protection.

The charger can also detect whether your vehicle's engine or generator is actually running before it starts pulling from the starter battery, which helps avoid accidentally draining the battery you need to start your vehicle. It's built in a compact, robust housing designed to fit in tight engine bays or storage compartments, and is available in 40A and 60A charging current options.
