The battery case is molded from non-conductive ABS plastic that resists shock, vibration, chemical exposure, and temperature swings, and the sealed GEL design requires no watering or maintenance once installed. That combination makes it suitable for alarm systems, emergency lighting, standby power supplies, telecom equipment, computer backup power, and solar or wind energy storage alike.
