The ACOPOWER Midas 40 Amp MPPT Solar Charge Controller is a negative-ground charge controller designed to regulate power flowing from a solar array into a 12V or 24V battery bank, with automatic voltage detection so setup takes minutes. Using an advanced MPPT algorithm, it delivers charging efficiency of 99.5% or better, extracting more usable energy from your panels than a standard PWM controller.

A 4-stage charging process (bulk, boost, float and equalization) is tailored to extend battery life, and the controller works with sealed, gel, flooded and lithium batteries, including LiFePO4. Its die-cast aluminum enclosure helps manage heat, and a full suite of electronic protections covers reverse polarity, overcurrent, overcharge and short-circuit conditions.

With a 100V max PV open-circuit voltage rating and an LCD display for at-a-glance monitoring, the Midas 40A suits mid-size off-grid systems on RVs, cabins and boats that need more charging headroom than a 30A controller provides.
