The ACOPOWER Midas 40A is a negative-ground MPPT solar charge controller rated for 100V PV input, bundled here with the MT-50 remote display and a temperature sensor. Its MPPT tracking algorithm targets charging efficiency of 99.5% or better, squeezing more usable power out of the same solar array compared to a basic PWM controller.

The controller automatically recognizes 12V or 24V battery systems and runs a four-stage charging routine (Bulk, Boost, Float, and Equalization) with temperature compensation, which is intended to extend battery life and keep the system performing consistently across seasons. It's compatible with AGM and LiFePO4 batteries.

The included MT-50 remote meter is a newer-generation display for ACOPOWER's HY-series MPPT controllers, supporting the latest communication protocol so charging status can be monitored away from the controller itself, and the included temperature sensor feeds the controller's temperature-compensated charging.

The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship.
