The ACOPOWER ProteusX is ACOPOWER's first waterproof PWM charge controller, built as a negative-ground unit for compatibility with the standard grounding setup used in most 12V/24V systems. It's designed and tested to hold up in outdoor, boat, and RV environments where a standard indoor controller wouldn't survive.

A bright, backlit blue LCD displays volts, amps, amp-hours, and battery presets, along with error codes if something needs attention. At its rated 20A, it supports up to 360W of panel input on a 12V system or 720W on a 24V system, and it's compatible with eight battery chemistries, including lithium-ion, LiFePO4, LTO, gel, AGM, flooded, crystal, and calcium. A five-stage charging routine (Soft, Bulk, Absorption, Equalization, Float) is paired with protection against reverse polarity, reverse current at night, over-temperature, and over-voltage.

This version ships as the controller only, without the alligator clip and solar connector wiring kit, for installers who already have their own cabling or connectors on hand.
