The Renogy Rover 60 Amp MPPT Solar Charge Controller is designed for mid- to large-size solar setups on 12V or 24V battery systems, including RVs, cabins, and backup power installations. It identifies the system voltage automatically and regulates solar charging so your batteries receive as much energy as your panels can produce.

Maximum power point tracking reaches up to 99% efficiency with 98% peak conversion, and a four-stage charging process keeps batteries healthy over years of cycling. An external temperature sensor adjusts charging to prevent undercharging in cold weather as low as -40°F and overcharging in heat up to 149°F. The controller can also wake lithium batteries that have shut down under BMS protection by feeding them a small current.

A die-cast aluminum heat sink moves heat away from the electronics, and insulated casing adds protection against electrical hazards. Load output can be set to Auto On/Off, Timer, Manual, Test, or Always-On modes, and adding a Bluetooth module unlocks real-time system monitoring from your phone.

The load terminal is designed for powering small dc loads such as led lights or simple dc fans (without motors). the battery must be connected before using the load terminal, and it is not recommended to connect inductive loads such as motors directly to this output.

Yes. the rover 60a mppt charge controller supports pv input voltages up to 140v dc and can handle up to 1600w of solar power on a 24v system. ensure that the combined open-circuit voltage (voc) and short-circuit current (isc) of your solar array remain within the controller’s specified limits.
