Product Description

The MotoTec Blaze is a battery-powered dirt bike sized for younger riders who want the look and feel of a motocross machine without gasoline, pull starters or fuel mixing. A 36v 350w brushed motor peaking at 500w drives the rear wheel through a chain, and the variable full-twist throttle lets the rider feed in power gradually instead of dealing with an on-off switch, which makes learning throttle control far less intimidating.

Power comes from a 36v 5.2ah lithium pack that recharges in about four hours from empty and is good for roughly 9.3 miles of riding, with a top speed of 15.5 mph. The bike carries UL 2272 certification for its electrical and battery system. Because there is no engine to warm up, the rider just switches it on and goes, and the only maintenance between sessions is putting it back on the charger.

The chassis is steel and suspended at both ends, with twin telescopic forks up front and a hydraulic spring shock at the rear to keep the wheels tracking over bumps and driveway edges. A rear disc brake handles stopping, 7 inches of ground clearance keeps the underside clear of ruts, and the 19.5 inch seat height suits riders between 39.3 and 51.2 inches tall. At 35 lbs the whole bike is light enough for a parent to carry to and from the riding area.

Normal wear items such as tires, tubes, brake pads, chains and batteries are not covered, and neither is damage from racing, jumping, collisions, improper assembly, modification, or riding beyond the rated limits.
