Product Description

The 60v 1500w Lithium is the top of MotoTec's mini bike range, and the lithium pack is the reason. A 60v/20ah lithium-ion battery replaces the heavy sealed lead acid setup used lower in the line, feeding a 1500-watt rear hub motor. The result is a 28 mph top speed and around 25 miles of range per charge, with three rider-selected speed modes at 13, 18 and 28 mph on a handlebar switch.

A rear hub motor means there is no chain to tension, and the rest of the bike is specified to match the performance. Hydraulic disc brakes work at both ends, front and rear suspension smooths out trail chatter, and 18x7-8 pneumatic tires ride on 9 inches of ground clearance. An LCD instrument panel displays speed, battery level and a trip meter, so the rider is not guessing at what is left in the pack.

Details set it apart from the cheaper models: high and low beam LED headlight, a running light that doubles as a brake light, a horn, key start and a lockable storage compartment hidden in the fake gas tank. The riding position uses a 26-inch seat and a 42.5-inch wheelbase, and the bike takes riders up to 220 lbs. Curb weight is 119 lbs without the battery, and the pack recharges in about 10 hours from empty.

Normal wear items such as tires, tubes, brake pads, chains and batteries are not covered, and neither is damage from racing, jumping, collisions, improper assembly, modification, or riding beyond the rated limits.
