MotoTec Venom 72v 30000w Electric Dirt Bike - Recreational Off-Road Use Only

This is the 30,000 watt Venom, the most powerful electric dirt bike MotoTec builds and the product of a two-year development program. The 72 volt DC permanent magnet motor is rated at 6000 watts continuous with a 30,000 watt peak and 1200 Nm of peak wheel torque, which is what carries it to 75 mph and through 0 to 62 mph in five seconds. A charge is good for four to five hours of trail riding, or about thirty minutes if the bike is ridden flat out.

Where the 12,000 watt Venom uses a four-speed manual gearbox, this version runs an automatic transmission. There is no clutch to manage and no shifting, so the rider concentrates on the throttle and the terrain while the drivetrain handles the rest, which suits the enormous torque figure. The 72 volt 73 amp-hour lithium-ion battery uses CATL cells, releases quickly for charging off the bike and takes about five hours on the 15 amp charger. Peak battery voltage is 84 volts, with 150 amps continuous and 300 amps peak output.

The frame combines Q345B steel with forged 6061 aluminum alloy, backed by an aluminum rear fork, 7075 aluminum steering and aluminum handlebar and clutch levers. MNT single-cavity double-adjustable shocks work through 84 to 250 mm of suspension travel, hydraulic disc brakes run DOT4 fluid with copper-base pads, and 7116 alloy rims with cast hubs carry an 80/100-21 front and 110/90-18 rear. LED lighting and an LCD instrument panel are standard. The bike measures 84 x 33 x 48 inches on a 56 inch wheelbase, with a 35.4 inch seat, 12.5 inches of clearance, a 238 lb curb weight and a 330 lb rider capacity.
