The Eunorau DEFENDER S 2.0, which also carries the Hunter X6 badge, fits a 750W hub motor to each wheel for genuine all-wheel drive, giving 1,500W of combined rated power and a maximum of 85 N·m of torque through a 48V 25A dual-motor controller. Driving both contact patches instead of one is the whole point of the design: when a single driven wheel would spin up and stall your progress on loose gravel, soft sand, snow, or a rutted trail, the second motor keeps pulling. Eunorau also lists selectable power so the rider can dial output to match conditions.

Underneath, the bike uses a 6061 aluminum four-bar full-suspension frame on 26-inch wheels. The fork offers 75mm of travel with preload and lockout adjustment, and the rear end runs a 165mm eye-to-eye adjustable air shock, so the linkage can absorb repeated hits rather than transmitting them to the rider. Fat 26 x 4.0-inch tires on double-wall alloy rims spread the load across soft surfaces, and hydraulic disc brakes with large 203mm rotors front and rear handle the stopping, backed by motor cut-off sensors that drop assistance as soon as a lever is pulled. Shifting is a Shimano CUES 9-speed group with a Rapidfire Plus shifter, an 11-36T cassette, and a 42T crankset on 170mm arms.

Assistance is governed by a torque sensor rather than a cadence pickup, so output scales with how hard you are actually pushing on the pedals: lean on them and support builds, back off and it eases away, which makes starts and speed changes feel more like your own effort. A 48V 17Ah removable lithium-ion pack, which Eunorau lists as UL certified, takes roughly six to eight hours to charge and is rated for an estimated range of up to 40 miles, or up to 80 miles combined if an optional second battery is added. Ride data and assist settings live on a MINI TOUCH color display with Bluetooth. Two frame sizes are offered: a 17-inch with a 432mm seat tube, recommended for riders from 5'3" to 5'10", and a 19-inch with a 483mm seat tube for riders from 5'10" to 6'4". Payload is rated at 300 lb, the bike weighs 89.3 lb, and an integrated front light and electronic horn are fitted.

Eunorau states that the DEFENDER S 2.0 starts up in a Class 2 configuration limited to 20 mph and that the limit is unlockable to a maximum setting of roughly 28 mph. Riders should note that 1,500W of combined rated power is well beyond the 750W ceiling in the US federal definition of a low-speed electric bicycle, and classification of a bike at this power level is handled individually by each state rather than at the federal level. Depending on where you are, it may be regulated as an electric bicycle, as a moped, or as a motor vehicle, and access to roads, bike paths, and trails can differ accordingly. We do not describe this bike as street legal and we do not assign it any class rating beyond what Eunorau publishes. Checking your state and local regulations, plus the rules of the specific routes you intend to ride, is the rider's responsibility.

Eunorau covers this product with a two-year warranty from the date of delivery against defects in materials and workmanship. Contact Adventure Motion support with your order number and photos of the issue and we will handle the claim.

Normal wear items are not covered - tires, tubes, brake pads and rotors, chains, cables and grips - and neither is damage from crashes, improper assembly, modification, immersion, or riding beyond the rated payload and operating limits.

Can i ride with only one motor?
Eunorau lists selectable power so output can be matched to conditions, but the product page does not spell out single-motor operation as a specific mode, so we would rather not state more than the manufacturer does. check the owner's manual that ships with the bike for the exact power settings available from the display.
How does the torque-sensing assist feel?
The sensor measures how much force you are putting into the pedals and adjusts motor support to match. push harder and you get more help; ease off and the assistance tapers, which makes starts and changes of pace feel closer to your own pedaling than a fixed on-off assist does.
What is the maximum speed?
Eunorau states the bike starts up in a class 2 configuration with assistance limited to 20 mph (32 km/h) and that the limit can be unlocked to a maximum setting of up to roughly 28 mph (45 km/h). what you are allowed to use on a given road or path is a separate question governed by local law.
What terrain is it designed for?
Eunorau markets it for gravel, sand, snow, and trail riding, where the fat-tire footprint and drive at both wheels help maintain traction, as well as for moving between paved and less predictable surfaces.
How far can it travel per charge?
The included 48v 17ah battery is rated for an estimated range of up to 40 miles (64 km). adding the optional second battery raises the combined figure to up to 80 miles (128 km). real-world range varies with rider weight, terrain, assist level, and conditions.
Is this bike street legal where i live?
That depends entirely on your state and local rules, and we cannot determine it for you. at 1,500w of combined rated power this bike is above the 750w ceiling in the us federal definition of a low-speed electric bicycle, and states differ on whether a machine at that power level counts as an electric bicycle, a moped, or a motor vehicle, and on where it may be ridden. eunorau's reference to a default class 2 startup setting describes the factory configuration, not a legal classification. verify your state and municipal regulations and the rules of any road, bike path, or trail you plan to use before riding.
