The Eunorau FAT-HD 2.0, also sold as the Hunter X7, is a heavy-duty fat-tire e-bike built around a mid-drive motor instead of a hub motor. It is aimed at riders who use a bike as access equipment — hunting, fishing and backcountry trail riding where the route involves sustained climbing and carrying weight. The frame is 6061 aluminum, the bike weighs 81.57 lbs, and total payload capacity is 375 lbs. Eunorau recommends it for riders from 5'3" to 6'4".

The motor is a 48V 1000W Bafang brushless mid-drive rated at 160 N.m of torque; the system can draw well above that nominal figure in short bursts, but 1000W is the motor's rating. Mounting the motor at the cranks means its output passes through the bike's own gearing, so the Shimano 9-speed derailleur and 11-32T cassette multiply torque on climbs in a way a hub motor cannot, and the bike holds speed better under load. A Bafang gear sensor briefly eases assist during shifts to spare the drivetrain, and the 42T Eunorau chainring carries an aluminum bash guard that shields the teeth from rock strikes and helps keep the chain seated on rough ground. Power comes from a 48V 15Ah battery using Samsung cells, on a dual-battery design; with a second pack fitted, Eunorau rates range at up to 80 miles.

An RST suspension fork takes the edge off rough trail, and KENDA 26" x 4.0" tires on 26-inch alloy rims spread the bike's weight over soft ground. Braking is hydraulic with Eunorau 180mm rotors front and rear, on levers that cut motor power when pulled. The BC182 Bluetooth color display runs five levels of pedal assist plus zero, and a thumb throttle is fitted. The Eunorau C7 saddle adjusts from 31.9" to 38.6" off the ground, LED lighting is fitted front and rear, and the bike ships with reflector pedals, a bell and a tool kit.

At 1000W nominal, this motor is above the 750W ceiling that U.S. federal law uses to define a low-speed electric bicycle, and Eunorau lists maximum speed at 28 MPH. Classification above that threshold is settled state by state rather than nationally, which means the same bike may be treated as an electric bicycle in one state, as a moped in another, and as a motor vehicle in a third — potentially bringing registration, licensing, insurance or off-road-use-only requirements with it. Confirming how your state and local law classifies a machine at this power level, and what the specific roads, paths and trails you plan to ride actually allow, is the rider's responsibility.

All e-bikes comes with a peace of mind

How much power does the motor produce?
The fat-hd 2.0 uses a 48v 1000w bafang brushless mid-drive motor rated at 160 n.m of torque. because it is a mid-drive, power goes through the chain and the 9-speed shimano drivetrain, so gear selection matters on steep climbs. the product content also notes the bafang system is capable of over 1500 watts of peak output, which is a short-burst figure rather than its continuous rating.
Is it street legal, and do i need a license or registration?
The motor is rated at 1000w, which is above the 750w threshold u.s. federal law uses to define a low-speed electric bicycle, and the product content does not assign this bike a class rating. depending on your state, a bike at this output may not qualify as a bicycle at all and can be subject to registration, licensing or insurance requirements, or limited to off-road use. check how your state and city classify it before riding on public roads, bike paths or trails. adventure motion cannot advise on the rules in your area.
How fast does it go?
Maximum speed is listed at 28 mph. power is delivered through five levels of pedal assist, with level 0 for unassisted riding, plus a thumb throttle that works independently of pedaling. since the specifications do not publish a class rating for this model, confirm what top speed is permitted where you ride before using the full range.
How far can it go, and can i add a second battery?
The bike comes with a removable 48v 15ah battery built on samsung cells, and the frame uses a dual battery design that accepts a second pack. with the secondary battery fitted, the specifications list a range of up to 80 miles. heavy loads, mud, snow and steep trails will reduce that substantially, and the battery lifts off the frame so you can charge it indoors.
What rider heights does it fit, and how much can it carry?
Eunorau recommends riders between 5 feet 3 inches and 6 feet 4 inches. the eunorau c7 saddle adjusts from 31.9 to 38.6 inches off the ground. total payload capacity is 375 lbs, which must cover the rider plus any gear, and the complete bike weighs 81.57 lbs, so loading it onto a vehicle usually takes two people or a ramp.
What brakes and tires does it use?
Braking comes from 180mm hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, with levers that include a motor cut-off switch so power drops the moment you pull the brake. it rolls on kenda 26 x 4.0 inch fat tires over 26-inch alloy rims, with an rst suspension fork taking the edge off rough ground. an aluminum bash guard shields the 42t chainring from rock strikes and helps hold the chain in place.
