The Eunorau META24 1.0 is a mid-size e-bike on 24-inch wheels, built for riders who want a capable commuter without the bulk and weight of a full fat-tire machine. At 61.7 lbs it is noticeably lighter than Eunorau's 26-inch models, which makes a real difference when the bike has to go up a step, onto a rack or into a garage corner. The frame is 17 inches of 6061 aluminum, total payload capacity is 286 lbs, and Eunorau recommends it for riders from 5'3" to 6'2".

A 48V 500W rear hub motor rated at a maximum 55 N.m of torque provides the assist, and maximum speed is listed at 20 MPH. The bike uses a torque sensor rather than a simple cadence sensor, so assist rises and falls with how hard the rider pushes on the pedals; the result feels closer to pedaling a strong bicycle than to operating a throttle, though a thumb throttle is fitted as well. The battery is a 48V 15Ah pack on Samsung cells, with an optional second 15Ah or 17Ah pack; with the 15Ah standard pack plus a 17Ah second pack, Eunorau rates range at 100 miles. Charging takes 5 to 7 hours on the included 2.0A smart charger, through a 48V 20A controller.

A suspension fork handles the front end, and Innova 24" x 3.0" tires on 24-inch alloy rims give enough volume to absorb cracked pavement and packed dirt without the rolling drag of a 4-inch tire. Gearing is a Shimano ASLM3157RC 7-speed with a 42T chainring and 170mm forged aluminum cranks. Braking is hydraulic with 180mm rotors and levers that cut motor power when squeezed. The Eunorau C7 saddle sits between 30.7" and 38.6" off the ground and the ZOOM stem adjusts for reach, so fit can be dialed in across that height range. Fenders are included, LED lights run off the main battery at both ends with the taillight activating under braking, and the BC182 LCD display pairs over Bluetooth with the EUNORAU GO app.

Eunorau does not publish a Class 1, 2 or 3 rating for the META24 1.0. Where electric bicycles may be ridden, and under what conditions, is set by state and local rules rather than one national standard, so check the regulations where you ride and the posted rules of the specific paths and trails you plan to use.

All e-bikes comes with a peace of mind

How powerful is the motor, and how fast does it go?
The meta24 1.0 uses a 48v 500w rear hub motor rated at a maximum of 55 n.m of torque, with a listed top speed of 20 mph. a torque sensor adjusts output to how hard you are pedaling, so assist builds smoothly instead of surging on. a thumb throttle is also fitted if you want power without pedaling.
What class of e-bike is it, and do i need a license?
The specifications list a 500w motor and a 20 mph maximum speed, but the product content does not assign this model a class rating. rules for e-bikes, including where they can be ridden and whether a helmet or minimum age applies, are set by each state and city rather than nationally. check what applies where you ride before taking it on roads, bike paths or trails. adventure motion cannot advise on local law.
How far can it travel on a charge?
It ships with a 48v 15ah battery built on samsung cells, and an optional second battery in either 15ah or 17ah is available. the specifications list a 100-mile range with the 15ah main pack plus a 17ah second pack. charging takes 5 to 7 hours with the included 2.0a smart charger, and real-world distance drops with higher assist levels, hills, heavier loads and cold weather.
Will it fit me, and how much weight can it carry?
The frame is a 17-inch size and eunorau recommends riders between 5 feet 3 inches and 6 feet 2 inches. the saddle adjusts from 30.7 to 38.6 inches off the ground and the zoom stem is adjustable for reach. total payload capacity is 286 lbs, covering the rider plus anything you carry.
How much does it weigh?
The bike weighs 61.7 lbs, which is lighter than most fat-tire e-bikes but still heavy for carrying up stairs or lifting onto a roof rack on your own. a hitch rack or ramp makes transport much easier, and any rack you use should be rated for a bike of this weight.
What tires and brakes does it have, and what terrain suits it?
It rolls on innova 24 x 3.0 inch tires over 24-inch alloy rims, with a suspension fork up front and a shimano 7-speed drivetrain. stopping is handled by 180mm hydraulic disc brakes with motor cut-off levers. the wide tires and suspension handle pavement, gravel paths and packed dirt comfortably, and fenders plus battery-powered front and rear lights are included for commuting.
