The Eunorau META26 1.0 is a fat-tire electric mountain bike built for riders who want a single machine that copes with pavement, gravel, dirt roads and packed trail without being fussy about any of them. The frame is 6061 aluminum alloy, the wheels are 26-inch black alloy rims shod with 26" x 3.0" Innova tires, and a suspension front fork up front takes the edge off broken ground, so washboard and root-covered surfaces do not wear the rider down over a long day. Eunorau recommends it for riders between 5'4" and 6'3". Total payload capacity is 286 lbs, which has to cover the rider plus anything carried, and the bike itself weighs 68.4 lbs, so loading it onto a hitch rack is a job for two people or a ramp.

Power comes from a 48V 500W rear hub motor rated at up to 55 N.m of torque, run through a 48V 20A controller, with a listed top speed of 20 mph. Assist is governed by a torque sensor rather than a simple cadence pickup: the system reads how hard the rider is actually pushing on the pedals and feeds in motor power in proportion, so the help builds as the effort does instead of arriving as an on-off shove. A thumb throttle sits on the bar for the moments when power is wanted without pedaling at all. The standard pack is a 48V 15Ah LG lithium-ion battery, and Eunorau offers a second battery as an option in either 15Ah or 17Ah. The published 100-mile range figure applies only to the 48V 15Ah battery used together with the 17Ah second pack, so a single-battery bike should be planned around a good deal less than that. A full charge takes 5 to 7 hours on the included US-standard 2.0A smart charger.

The rest of the build is geared toward control and all-day use. Braking is hydraulic on 180mm rotors, and the levers carry a motor cutoff switch so the motor stops pulling the instant either lever is squeezed. The drivetrain turns 170mm forged aluminum cranks on a 42T chainring, and the contact points are a Eunorau C7 saddle and an adjustable stem that lets the bar height be set to the rider rather than the other way round. LED lighting front and rear runs off the main battery, with an integrated brake taillight that fires whenever the brakes are applied, so there are no separate cells to charge or replace. Fenders and a tool kit are included. Ride data shows on a BC182 LCD display, which supports Bluetooth phone pairing and the EUNORAU GO app.

One thing worth settling before the first ride: how this bike is treated in law depends entirely on where it is ridden. The 500W motor rating sits below the 750W federal ceiling for a low-speed electric bicycle, but Eunorau does not assign the META26 1.0 a class, and electric bike rules in the United States are written state by state and frequently city by city. The same machine can be treated as an electric bicycle in one jurisdiction and as something requiring registration in another, and individual roads, bike paths and trail systems set their own rules on top of that. Confirming what applies locally, and on the specific paths and trails intended, is the rider's responsibility.

All e-bikes comes with a peace of mind

How powerful is the motor, and do i need a license to ride it?
The meta26 1.0 uses a 48v 500w rear hub motor rated at up to 55 n.m of torque, with a listed top speed of 20 mph. that motor rating sits under the 750w federal ceiling for a low-speed electric bicycle, but this listing does not assign the bike a class, and e-bike rules differ from state to state and city to city. check your local regulations before riding on public roads, bike lanes, or multi-use paths.
How far will it go on a charge?
The published range is 100 miles, and that figure is quoted for the 48v 15ah battery used together with the optional 17ah second battery. a range for the standard single battery on its own is not published, so plan on noticeably less than 100 miles with one pack. real distance always depends on rider weight, terrain, wind, assist level, and how much you use the throttle.
Can i add a second battery?
Yes. the bike ships with a 48v 15ah lg lithium-ion pack, and a second battery is offered as an option in either 15ah or 17ah. a full charge takes 5 to 7 hours using the included us-standard 2.0a smart charger.
What rider height and weight is it built for?
The recommended rider height range is 5'4" to 6'3". total payload capacity is 286 lbs, which covers the rider plus anything you carry. the bike itself weighs 68.4 lbs, so loading it onto a rack or into a vehicle is easier with a second person or a ramp.
What brakes and tires does it have, and what terrain can it handle?
Braking is handled by 180mm hydraulic disc brakes, and the levers include a motor cutoff switch so power drops the moment you brake. it rolls on 26" x 3.0" innova tires on black alloy rims and has a suspension front fork that soaks up shock on rough, broken surfaces. that combination suits pavement, gravel, dirt roads, and packed trails.
Does it use pedal assist or a throttle?
Both. a torque sensor reads how hard you are pedaling and feeds in more motor power as you push harder, which makes the assist feel proportional rather than on-off. there is also a thumb throttle if you want power without pedaling. ride data shows on a bc182 lcd display, which supports bluetooth phone connection and the eunorau go app.
