Product Description

The MotoTec Electric Trike 48v 750w Lithium takes the familiar three-wheel personal transporter layout and swaps the lead-acid battery bank for a lithium-ion pack. It rides the same way as its siblings - seated or standing, twist throttle, sharp low-speed manners - which suits it to event work, security rounds and warehouse floors as readily as weekend riding.

The difference is in the power source. A 48v 10ah lithium-ion pack weighs a fraction of four lead-acid blocks, which brings the whole trike down to 83 lbs and makes it the lightest model in the range. A 750 watt brushless hub motor in the front wheel pushes it to a rated 22 to 25 mph, and the pack covers 15 to 25 miles per charge with a 4 to 8 hour refill and over 300 cycles of service life.

Chassis hardware stays straightforward: a 16 inch pneumatic front tire (3.00-10), two 9 inch pneumatic rears (2.80/2.50-4) and a front drum brake. The saddle adjusts between 24 and 28.5 inches and comes off entirely for standing operation, while the handlebar folds so the trike stands 31 inches tall in storage. Keyed ignition, battery meter light, front LED headlight and a carrying basket are all included, and the trike handles grades up to 10 degrees.

Normal wear items such as tires, tubes, brake pads, chains and batteries are not covered, and neither is damage from racing, jumping, collisions, improper assembly, modification, or riding beyond the rated limits.
