The Heybike Hybrid is the long-haul option in Heybike's commuter line, built for riders who want one bike that handles a full working week plus whatever gets loaded onto it. The headline figure is an 864Wh battery, which Heybike tested to 100 miles with a 155 lb rider in PAS 1. Behind it sits a 750W Galaxy eDrive hub motor rated at 75 N·m and peaking at 1200W, with a 28 mph top speed. Compared with the lighter Venus, the Hybrid trades some nimbleness for a bigger pack, a higher payload ceiling and a suspension fork.

That fork is a 100mm-travel hydraulic unit with adjustable stiffness and a lockout, both controlled by knobs on the crown, so the bike can be firmed up for smooth pavement or opened up for broken road surfaces. KENDA 27.5 x 2.4-inch tires add a further cushion of air volume without turning the bike into a fat-tire cruiser. Tektro hydraulic disc brakes on 180 x 1.9mm rotors handle stopping, which matters on a 69 lb bike carrying a loaded rack.

Power delivery comes from a dual-sensor system that reads torque and cadence and lets the rider pick between them: cadence mode gives a steady low-effort boost, torque mode responds proportionally to how hard the pedals are being pushed. Five PAS levels are available and each one's speed limit can be set individually in the Heybike app, which also toggles between Class 2 and Class 3 through its Eco, Sport and Custom ride profiles. The same switch can be made directly on the display. Gearing is a Shimano Altus 8-speed with a 12–32T cassette and a 48T chainring.

Utility is where the Hybrid separates itself. Total payload capacity is 440 lb, and the rear rack is rated to 60 lb and compatible with child seats. The rear rack and rear fender arrive pre-installed, with the front fender in the box for the owner to fit. Lighting covers a headlight with horn plus a taillight integrating brake light and turn signals. Both the complete bike and the battery are UL certified, to UL 2849 and UL 2271 respectively. The 6061 aluminum frame suits riders from 5'3" to 6'2" with an inseam between 31.5 and 38.8 inches, and the seat adjusts across a 31.5-inch to 38.8-inch range.

How far can the hybrid go on a charge?
The 864wh battery is rated up to 100 miles, tested with a 155 lb rider in pas 1. expect less with heavier loads, higher assist levels, hills or cold weather.
How do i switch between class 2 and class 3?
Two ways. in the heybike app, choose a ride profile on the home screen — eco is class 2 and sport is class 3, with a custom option as well. the same change can also be made directly through the display's top-speed setting. pas and throttle speeds are adjustable under personalize, then speed settings.
Is the suspension fork adjustable?
Yes. knobs on top of the fork control suspension stiffness and a lockout, so the 100mm fork can be firmed up for smooth tarmac or opened for rough surfaces.
Does it come with a rack and fenders?
The rear rack and rear fender are pre-installed at the factory. the front fender is included in the box and needs to be fitted during setup.
How much can the hybrid carry?
Total payload capacity is 440 lb covering rider and cargo together, and the rear rack itself is rated to 60 lb. the rack also accepts child seats.
What is the difference between the hybrid and the venus?
The hybrid is the heavier, more grounded bike: 440 lb payload against the venus's 350 lb, an 864wh battery against 680wh, and a hydraulic suspension fork where the venus uses a rigid aluminum one. the venus is lighter and more nimble with a lower inseam requirement, so it suits smaller riders and agile city use.
