Product Description

The Heybike Ranger S 2.0 is the step-through commuter in the folding fat-tire range, and the frame is the point. Dropping the top tube means riders can step on and off without swinging a leg over the saddle, which is the difference between an easy stop-start commute and a chore at every traffic light. It is a Class 3 e-bike with five levels of pedal assist and a 28 mph assisted top speed, built for riders who want fat-tire stability and folding convenience in a shape that is genuinely easy to get on.

Propulsion comes from a 750W rear hub motor rated to 1400W peak with 80 N·m of torque, fed by a removable 48V 14.4Ah pack holding 692Wh. That supports up to 55 miles per charge and takes roughly seven hours to refill. The front end runs a suspension fork, and 20 x 4-inch fat tires carry the rest of the comfort load, flattening out potholes, kerb cuts and gravel shoulders that would unsettle a narrower tire. Hydraulic disc brakes handle stopping.

The cockpit is kept deliberately simple: a colour LCD display shows speed, battery level and distance, and a seven-button control panel sits within thumb reach on an ergonomic handlebar, so changing assist level or checking range does not require looking away for long. The bike is also app compatible for riders who want to manage settings from a phone. A padded comfort saddle and front and rear lights round out the daily-use package.

For storage, the frame folds, which makes it workable for apartment hallways, garages, RV bays and car boots where a full-size bike simply will not fit. Safety is covered by UL 2849 certification on the electrical system and an IPX4 water-resistance rating suitable for everyday splashes and changeable weather.
