The crankset is the assembly your pedals thread into, turning each pedal stroke into chain movement at the front of the drivetrain. This replacement is offered in model-matched versions for the Cruiser (D3), Zebra, D5, D7, Cobra and Cobra Pro, A7 Pro, B3, C3, Escape, Big Dog, the mid-drive Rambler and the hub-motor Rhino, so arm length, spindle fit and chainring all match what the bike was built with.

Cranks carry a constant load, and on an e-bike that load is higher than on a conventional bicycle because motor torque runs through the same drivetrain. Hooked chainring teeth, a creaking or loose arm, or a bent crank all cost efficiency and can let the chain slip under power. A fresh crankset brings back solid, quiet power transfer and gives the chain clean teeth to sit on. Pulling and refitting cranks calls for a crank puller and the correct bottom-bracket tools, so it suits someone with drivetrain experience or a workshop.

Compatibility

  • Cruiser / D3 (and ST), Zebra / Zebra ST, Escape, Big Dog: Share one common crankset version
  • D5 / D5 ST, Cobra, Rhino (hub motor): Share one common crankset version
  • B3, C3: Share one common crankset version
  • Cobra Pro, D7, A7 Pro, Rambler (mid-drive): Each takes its own model-specific version
  • Options available: 12 model-matched variants

  • Model-matched crank arms and chainring rather than a generic fit
  • Restores firm, rattle-free power transfer through the drivetrain
  • Fresh chainring teeth stop the chain slipping under motor torque
  • Replaces bent, creaking or worn factory cranks
  • Twelve options across the Himiway range, with several models sharing a common set
  • Built for the higher sustained load an assisted drivetrain puts through the cranks

This part is covered against defects in materials and workmanship on arrival. Himiway does not publish a separate warranty term for replacement parts bought on their own, so contact Adventure Motion support with your order number and photos if something arrives faulty or fails early, and we will confirm coverage and handle the claim.

Wear items such as tires, inner tubes, brake pads and brake rotors are consumables and are not covered beyond transit damage. Damage from crashes, incorrect fitting, modification or use outside the part's rated limits is also excluded.

Which models is this crankset available for?
Cruiser (d3), zebra, d5, d7, cobra, cobra pro, a7 pro, b3, c3, escape, big dog, the mid-drive rambler and the hub-motor rhino.
Does the bottom bracket come with it?
This listing covers the crankset. if your bottom bracket or torque sensor also needs replacing, that is a separate part, and adventure motion support can confirm what your model takes.
What tools are needed to fit it?
A crank puller and the bottom-bracket tool that matches your bike. if you do not have those, a bike shop can do the swap quickly.
How do i know my crankset needs replacing?
Common signs are a creak or knock under load, play in the arm where it meets the spindle, visibly hooked or thinned chainring teeth, or a bent arm after an impact.
Can i fit a crankset listed for a different model?
Stick to the option listed for your bike. spindle fit and chainring size vary across the range, so check with adventure motion support before deviating.
