The Himiway D5 2.0 Camo is the hunting-oriented build of the D5 2.0 full-suspension platform, finished in camouflage and set up for people who need to cover ground quietly. Hunters, property managers, ranch hands and campers use it the same way: to reach a stand, a fence line or a remote site without the noise, exhaust and access restrictions that come with a gas vehicle, and to carry gear in on the way there and out again afterwards.

The chassis is built around long travel and wide rubber. A RST hydraulic fork with 100mm of travel, a lockout and rebound adjustment works with 130mm of rear-wheel travel to keep the tires tracking over roots, rock steps and washboard, and Maxxis Minion FBF and FBR fat tires in 26 x 4.0, tubeless ready, supply the grip across mud, leaf litter, sand and loose gravel. Four-piston Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with a 203mm front rotor give you real control on a loaded descent.

A 48V 750W geared hub motor producing 90Nm handles the climbing and the hauling, and because it is a hub drive rather than a chain-driven mid motor it is noticeably quiet under load. The sensor can be switched between torque and cadence response, with an automatic assist mode and five PAS levels on top. The bike ships limited to 20 mph and can be set between 4 and 28 mph across Class 1, 2 and 3; a thumb throttle is fitted. Himiway quotes around 40 miles on throttle and up to 70 miles on pedal assist from the 15Ah pack, with a 15Ah + 20Ah dual-battery configuration available for longer trips.

Load capacity is where this build earns its keep: 400 lb total for rider and gear, a rear rack rated at 150 lb, and - per Himiway's own listing - towing capability up to 1,000 lb for a game cart or trailer. The bike weighs 92 lb with the battery, carries integrated lighting with a brake indicator and turn signal, and fits riders from 5'1" to 6'5".

How far can i get on one charge?
Himiway quotes about 40 miles on throttle alone and up to 70 miles on pedal assist from the 15ah battery. carrying heavy gear, towing, soft ground and cold weather all reduce that, so the 15ah + 20ah dual-battery option is worth considering for long days.
How quiet is it in the field?
A geared hub motor has no chain-driven drive unit, so there is no mid-drive whine under load - the loudest thing is usually the tires on the ground. that is the main reason the camo build is specified this way.
What can it carry and tow?
Total load capacity is 400 lb for rider and gear, the rear rack is rated at 150 lb, and himiway's listing gives a towing capability of up to 1,000 lb for a cart or trailer. load heavy items low and centred, and allow more braking distance when towing.
What is the top speed and class?
The bike is delivered limited to 20 mph and can be set between 4 and 28 mph in the display, covering class 1, 2 and 3. it has a thumb throttle. set it to match the rules for the roads and land you ride on.
Who does the frame fit?
Himiway lists a 5'1" to 6'5" rider range. the stem adjusts through 60 degrees, so the reach and bar height can be tuned once the saddle height is set.
Does it handle wet and muddy conditions?
Yes - the bike is rated ipx5 and the battery ipx6, and the maxxis minion tread is designed for loose and wet ground. rinse mud off the rotors and drivetrain afterwards and dry the charge port before plugging in.
