MotoTec Phantom Gas Pocket Bike 49cc 2-Stroke - Recreational Off-Road Use Only

The MotoTec Phantom is a full-bodied miniature sport bike that stands just 23 inches tall and stretches 40 inches nose to tail. Pocket bikes began life as adult racing machines, and the Phantom keeps that character: rather than the milder four-stroke engine fitted to entry-level machines, it runs a 49cc air-cooled two-stroke that produces noticeably more power from the same displacement.

Power reaches the rear wheel through a centrifugal clutch and chain, so the Phantom is twist-and-go with nothing to shift. It starts on a pull cord and runs on unleaded gasoline pre-mixed with two-stroke oil at 32:1, drawing from a 1.25-litre tank that covers roughly 20 miles of lapping before a refill.

Underneath the bodywork is a rigid steel frame with a disc brake at each wheel. The tire setup is staggered: a 90/65-6.5 up front and a wider 110/50-6.5 at the rear, both 11-inch pneumatics, which puts more rubber where the drive and braking loads are highest. The padded single seat sits 18.5 inches off the ground and the handlebars adjust for angle, so riders can settle into a position that suits them.

With a recommended age of 13 and up and a 170 lb rider ceiling, the Phantom suits older kids and smaller adults who want a real combustion machine for driveways, parking lots and closed courses. It is recreational off-road equipment, and a helmet plus full protective gear belongs on every rider, every time.
