MotoTec Wild Rover 49cc 2-Stroke Kids Gas Mini Bike - Recreational Off-Road Use Only

The MotoTec Wild Rover is a 49cc two-stroke minibike for beginners, using an automatic centrifugal clutch so the rider only has to manage the throttle and the brake. The air-cooled engine is EPA approved and fires on a pull cord, with a T8F 64-link chain carrying the drive to the rear wheel.

Wide air-filled knobby tires, 14/2.4 front and rear, are the Wild Rover's defining feature. The broad footprint holds a line in loose dirt and soft grass where a narrower tire would wash out. A rear disc brake does the stopping, the frame is steel, and the padded single-rider seat sits 21 inches up. Top speed is 22 mph, slightly quicker than MotoTec's Urchin and Bandit.

The 1.4-liter tank runs unleaded mixed with two-stroke oil at 32:1 and covers 10 to 15 miles of riding per fill. The rider weight limit is 130 lbs, the lowest in this group, which points the Wild Rover squarely at smaller and lighter riders. A variable twist-grip throttle gives progressive control, and the bike requires assembly before its first outing.
