The Bubble Pro is Scott Aerator's two-diffuser subsurface aeration system, built for pond owners who want the water worked over from the bottom up without any visible equipment floating on it. Two diffusers sit on the pond bed and connect through weighted airlines to a single compressor stationed on the bank. Because nothing breaks the surface except the bubbles themselves, the pond keeps the look it had before the system went in.

The quarter-horsepower rocking-piston compressor pushes air down each airline to the diffusers, which release it as a dense bubble stream. Rising bubbles carry low-oxygen bottom water with them, and that water gives up its accumulated gases and picks up oxygen as soon as it hits the surface. Running two diffusers rather than one spreads that circulation across a wider stretch of the pond, so the oxygen reaches more of the bed instead of concentrating around a single point.

Coverage scales with depth, since taller water columns let each bubble travel further and move more volume on the way up. Scott Aerator puts the two-diffuser Bubble Pro at about half an acre in ponds 5 to 8 feet deep, one acre from 9 to 12 feet, and two acres between 13 and 16 feet. Picking the right model therefore comes down to depth as much as surface area.

The system is also suited to cold-weather use as a de-icer. Left running through freeze-up, the upwelling it creates keeps a hole open in the ice near each diffuser, which lets gases vent rather than building up beneath a solid cap. The compressor is offered on its own or bundled with an enclosure, including a weatherproof cabinet, a steel cabinet with a cooling fan and ground base, and a lockable deluxe steel cabinet.

What's Included

  • Two bottom-mounted diffusers
  • Two 100-foot lengths of 3/8-inch quick-sink weighted airline tubing
  • Quarter-horsepower rocking-piston air compressor in either 115 V or 230 V
  • Valved air outlet assembly with individual hose controls and a pressure relief valve
  • All fittings and clamps required for assembly
  • Compressor cabinets are separate options and are not part of the base system

Compressor

  • Compressor: 1/4 hp rocking piston
  • Voltage options: 115 V or 230 V
  • Air outlet: Valved assembly with individual hose controls and pressure relief valve

Aeration System

  • Diffusers: Two
  • Airlines: Two 100 ft lengths of 3/8 in quick-sink weighted tubing
  • Fittings: All required fittings and clamps included

Pond Coverage by Depth

  • 5 to 8 ft deep: Up to 1/2 acre
  • 9 to 12 ft deep: Up to 1 acre
  • 13 to 16 ft deep: Up to 2 acres

Ordering

  • Manufacturer part number: 44010 (115 V) / 44010.23 (230 V)
  • Cabinet options: None, weatherproof, steel with fan and ground base, or deluxe lockable steel

  • Two bottom diffusers spread circulation across a wider area than a single-diffuser system
  • Quarter-horsepower rocking-piston compressor sits on shore, keeping electricity out of the water
  • Two 100-foot weighted airlines sink on their own and stay down on the pond bed
  • Valved outlet assembly provides separate airflow control for each hose plus a pressure relief valve
  • Rated from half an acre in shallow water up to two acres at 13 to 16 feet of depth
  • Works as a winter de-icer, holding openings in the ice above the diffusers
  • Offered in 115 V and 230 V with a choice of weatherproof, fan-cooled steel, or lockable steel cabinets

This system carries a two-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase, to the original owner.

Contact Adventure Motion support with your order number and a description of the fault to start a claim. Warranty inspection is handled at the factory, with the owner prepaying shipping in and replaced parts returned prepaid.

Routine service items such as diffuser membranes and compressor filters are maintenance parts rather than warranty items, and damage from improper wiring or operating outside the rated voltage is not covered.

How deep should the pond be?
Scott aerator's published coverage for the bubble pro starts in the 5 to 8 foot band at about half an acre. depth is what gives the bubble column room to lift water, so this style of aeration is best suited to ponds with several feet of water rather than very shallow ones.
Is there any electricity in the water?
No. only the airlines and the two diffusers go into the pond. the compressor is mounted on shore, so nothing electrical is submerged.
Can both diffusers be adjusted separately?
Yes. the valved air outlet assembly gives each hose its own control, so airflow can be balanced between the two diffusers depending on where they are placed and how deep each one sits.
Can i leave it running over the winter?
Yes. the bubble pro is listed as working well as a de-icer, and keeping it on through freeze-up maintains open water above the diffusers so trapped gases can escape.
How much tubing is supplied?
Two 100-foot lengths of 3/8-inch quick-sink weighted tubing, one per diffuser. the tubing is weighted so it drops to the bottom instead of floating.
Should i choose the bubble pro or the bubble pro mini?
The mini runs a single diffuser and covers roughly half as much water at any given depth. the bubble pro doubles the diffusers and airlines off the same quarter-horsepower compressor, so it suits larger ponds or ones where circulation needs to reach more than one area.
