The Dock Mount Quick Release Adapter is a 4 in. mounting accessory for pond owners running a dock-mounted AquaSweep or a dock-mounted De-Icer. It sits between the unit and its dock plate, so the whole assembly can be lifted off and set back down without dismantling the mount itself.

The practical gain is coverage. A single AquaSweep or De-Icer only works the water it can reach from where it is bolted, so owners with a long dock or several problem spots normally have to pick one. With dock plates installed at each position, the adapter lets one unit be unclipped, carried down the dock and dropped onto the next plate, which spreads the same machine over a much larger area of muck, weed growth or ice. The same quick release makes end-of-season removal and storage straightforward.

Compatibility matters here. This is the 4 in. version of the adapter, and it is built specifically for the Dock Mount AquaSweep and Dock Mount De-Icer. It does not fit the Tripod Stand; a tripod-mounted unit takes the 8 in. Tripod Oscillator Adapter instead. Dock plates are a separate purchase, and moving a unit between positions requires one plate at every position.

Do i need more than one dock plate?
