The Intermatic 230 Volt Commercial Timer is a heavy-duty mechanical time switch for 230-volt fountains and aerators, specified for demanding residential sites as well as commercial installations. It puts equipment on a fixed daily cycle, which trims power consumption and spreads motor wear over a longer life rather than running a pump continuously.

The switch is rated for 208 to 277 volts at 40 amps and will hold up to 12 ON/OFF cycles per day, and two trippers come with the unit for setting the first run period. Its clock motors are self-lubricating, so the timing mechanism needs no routine service in continuous-duty use.

A manual override switch lets equipment be run or shut down on the spot without disturbing the programmed schedule, so a service visit or a one-off run does not mean resetting the dial afterward. A wiring diagram is supplied with the timer to keep the electrical hookup straightforward.
