The Scott Aerator Jet Stream Fountain for large commercial ponds is the top of the Jet Stream range, built for large ponds and lakes at golf courses, business parks, housing developments and municipal properties. It produces one narrow vertical column rather than a spreading cone, and the column is tall enough to be seen from across a property: 70 feet with the 2 hp motor and 80 feet with the 3 hp.

Both motors are 230-volt stainless-steel submersible units running oil-free at 3,450 rpm on single-phase 60 Hz service. Because the design is oil-free, there is no oil to change, no routine maintenance schedule, and no control box to install on shore. Flow is 120 gallons per minute on the 2 hp and 155 on the 3 hp. Three-phase and 50 Hz builds are offered for sites that need them, and both motors are rated for salt water as well as fresh.

On a water body of this size the circulation matters as much as the display. Lifting that volume of water and returning it at the surface drives oxygen into the pond and keeps it turning over, which supports the breakdown of organic sediment and decaying vegetation. The agitation across the surface also interferes with mosquito breeding. The units are designed for 24-hour-a-day duty, and Scott Aerator builds them in Holland, Michigan.

Each fountain ships with a 100-foot submersible 10-gauge cord, and longer cords of 150, 200 or 250 feet can be specified for a fountain set well out from the service point. Optional LED light sets are available in color-changing and Night Glo styles, in two- or four-light configurations, and can be added at purchase or retrofitted later. A GFCI is required on the supply circuit, and power should be disconnected any time swimmers are present.

Scott Aerator covers this unit with a five-year warranty against motor failure and a one-year warranty against factory defects on all other components, extended to the original owner from the date of purchase.

Warranty service is handled at the factory. A unit needing inspection must be sent in with shipping prepaid by the owner; once the fault is confirmed, replaced parts are returned with shipping prepaid. Contact Adventure Motion support with your order number before sending anything in and we will start the claim.

Damage from improper wiring, running the unit without a GFCI, operating it outside its rated voltage, freezing in a dry unit, or physical impact is not covered.

How deep does the water need to be?
The 2 hp model requires a minimum depth of 56 inches and the 3 hp requires 60 inches, measured where the fountain will be moored.
Is there a 115-volt version of this fountain?
No. both the 2 hp and 3 hp motors are built as 230-volt units.
What electrical protection is needed?
The supply circuit must be gfci protected. power should also be switched off whenever swimmers are in the water.
Does it need a control box or regular servicing?
No. the submersible motor is oil-free, so there is no oil to change, no routine maintenance schedule, and no control box to mount on shore.
What anchoring is required?
Two nylon ropes plus two weights or concrete blocks: 45 pounds each for the 2 hp and 55 pounds each for the 3 hp. none of that hardware is supplied with the fountain.
Can a longer power cord be ordered?
Yes. the standard cord is 100 feet of 10-gauge submersible cable, and 150, 200 and 250-foot lengths are available instead.
