The Scott Aerator Oscillator is a programmable rotating drive that mounts between a dock-mounted AquaSweep or De-Icer and its dock hardware, turning a fixed-direction unit into one that works its way across a much larger section of a pond or lake. Instead of aiming the flow at a single spot and moving the unit by hand every few days, the Oscillator pivots the head on a schedule so the water stream keeps shifting to new ground on its own.

The drive arrives pre-programmed to turn the unit 20 degrees every 20 minutes, which steps the flow steadily across a wide arc without supervision. Both the speed and the degree of travel can be changed, and the sweep can be opened up all the way to a complete 360-degree circle if the mounting position allows it, so coverage can be matched to the shape of the shoreline or dock rather than to a fixed pattern.

Paired with a Dock Mount AquaSweep, the rotating action spreads muck-moving water flow across a broad area of bottom rather than cutting one channel. Paired with a Dock Mount De-Icer, the same motion keeps a larger stretch of surface open through winter, which matters when the goal is protecting a wider section of dock or shoreline rather than a single piling. The Oscillator is not limited to new purchases either, and can be fitted to AquaSweep and De-Icer units already in service.

Power is a standard 110-volt supply, with the unit offered in 50-, 100-, and 150-foot cord lengths so the drive can be placed at the dock while the plug stays at a shore-side outlet. The Oscillator is designed around Scott Aerator equipment and is not recommended on other manufacturers' units. It is built in Holland, Michigan.

Mounting Requirements

  • Mounts to a Dock Mount AquaSweep or Dock Mount De-Icer; the water unit itself is a separate purchase
  • A dock plate or dock post bracket is not included with the Oscillator
  • For tripod-mounted installations, the Tripod Mount is required along with the Tripod Oscillator Adapter add-on
  • Can be retrofitted onto AquaSweep and De-Icer units already installed
  • Cord length is chosen at purchase in 50-, 100-, or 150-foot lengths
  • The drive housing mounts above the waterline and is not intended to be submerged

Power & Control

  • Power requirement: 110 V
  • Cord length options: 50 ft, 100 ft, or 150 ft
  • Programming: Fully programmable; preset to rotate 20 degrees every 20 minutes
  • Adjustable settings: Rotation speed and degree of motion
  • Sweep range: Adjustable up to a full 360-degree circle

Fit & Mounting

  • Works with: Dock Mount AquaSweep and Dock Mount De-Icer
  • Retrofit: Can be added to existing AquaSweep and De-Icer units
  • Dock hardware: Dock plate and dock post bracket not included
  • Tripod installation: Requires the Tripod Mount plus the Tripod Oscillator Adapter
  • Brand compatibility: Designed for Scott Aerator units; not recommended for other brands
  • Manufacturer part numbers: 165750 (50 ft), 165751 (100 ft), 165752 (150 ft)
  • Built in: Holland, Michigan, USA

  • Rotates a dock-mounted AquaSweep or De-Icer on a schedule so one unit covers a far wider area
  • Ships pre-programmed at 20-degree movement every 20 minutes and runs without daily attention
  • Rotation speed and degree of travel are both adjustable
  • Sweep can be set anywhere from a narrow arc up to a complete circle
  • Widens the ice-free zone when run with a Dock Mount De-Icer through winter
  • Fits existing AquaSweep and De-Icer units, not just new ones
  • Runs on standard 110-volt power with a choice of 50-, 100-, or 150-foot cord
  • Built in Holland, Michigan

The Oscillator carries a two-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase, to the original owner.

The warranty is void if the unit is submerged. The Oscillator is designed to sit above the waterline on the dock mount, and water intrusion is not a covered failure.

Contact Adventure Motion support with your order number to start a claim. Damage from improper wiring, physical impact, or operation outside the rated voltage is not covered.

What does the oscillator actually do?
It rotates a dock-mounted aquasweep or de-icer on a timed cycle so the water flow keeps moving to new ground. the factory setting turns the unit 20 degrees every 20 minutes, and the sweep can be opened up to a full circle.
Can i add this to an aquasweep or de-icer i already own?
Yes. the oscillator can be added to existing aquasweep and de-icer models as well as new ones, as long as the unit is a dock mount configuration.
What mounting hardware do i need?
A dock plate or dock post bracket is not included with the oscillator and has to be sourced separately. if you are mounting on a tripod instead of a dock, you need the tripod mount together with the tripod oscillator adapter.
What power does it require?
A standard 110-volt supply. you choose a 50-, 100-, or 150-foot cord at purchase so the drive can sit at the dock while the plug reaches a shore-side outlet.
Will it work on another brand's aerator or de-icer?
It is built specifically for scott aerator units and is not recommended on other manufacturers' equipment.
Does it keep more open water in winter?
Run with a dock mount de-icer, the rotating motion spreads the flow across a wider stretch of surface, which helps keep a larger area free of ice than a fixed unit would.
