The Renogy Battery Inverter Cables for 3/8 in Lugs are a pair of heavy-gauge cables for the short, high-current connection between a power inverter and its battery bank. That link carries more current than almost any other part of an off-grid or mobile power system, so thick, well-terminated cable is key to keeping the inverter running efficiently and safely.

The cables are color-coded red and black to make positive and negative easy to tell apart during installation, and each end is finished with heat shrink and a ring terminal sized for 3/8 in lugs. Finely stranded copper keeps them flexible enough to route through tight battery compartments and around corners.

A flame-retardant PVC jacket protects the conductors, and the 1AWG version uses UL-certified Cobra X-Flex cable that stands up to moisture, abrasion, acid, diesel fuel, and oil. Pick the length and gauge that match your inverter's current draw and the distance to your batteries.

What are these cables for?
They make the connection between a power inverter and a battery or battery bank.
What terminal size do they fit?
Both ends use ring terminals sized for 3/8 in lugs.
Do i get one cable or two?
A pair: one red cable and one black cable.
Which gauge should i choose?
Use the heaviest gauge practical for your inverter's current draw and keep the run as short as possible. renogy recommends 4/0 awg cables for its 3000w 12v inverter.
Are the cables resistant to harsh environments?
Yes. they resist moisture, abrasion, acid, diesel fuel, and oil, and use a flame-retardant pvc jacket.
