The Renogy 48V 50Ah Smart Self-Heating Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery is a Core Series storage battery built for higher-voltage off-grid homes, cabins, RVs, and backup power systems. Each unit stores 2.4kWh, and up to eight can be connected in parallel for as much as 19.2kWh, so capacity can grow as your energy needs do.

Inside, LiFePO4 pouch cells deliver steady power and are rated for more than 6,000 cycles, supporting well over a decade of regular use. Built-in heating pads warm the battery automatically so it can charge safely when temperatures fall below freezing, while cell balancing keeps charge levels even across the pack to protect usable capacity and service life.

A battery management system guards against common electrical faults, and the IP65-rated housing resists dust and water in demanding locations. Renogy puts this battery through drop, electromagnetic compatibility, forced overcharge and over-discharge, and crash testing before it reaches customers.
