Product Description

The Chaos is the fastest scooter MotoTec builds, and the specification explains why. A 2000-watt brushless motor runs on a 60-volt lithium-ion pack rather than sealed lead acid, which is the single biggest difference between it and the rest of the range: the scooter reaches 32 mph, covers 15 to 30 miles per charge, and weighs only 85 lbs despite the larger motor.

Chain drive puts the power down, and an economy mode pulls range back up when a long ride matters more than outright speed. A single front shock and dual rear shocks smooth out the surface, 11-inch pneumatic knobby tires work on road and off it, and disc brakes at both ends handle a machine capable of highway-adjacent speeds. A headlight is standard and the scooter starts with a key.

For storage and transport, the quick-release seat lifts off in seconds and the Posi Lock frame folds to 46 by 25 by 21 inches. The foot deck is ABS, maximum load is 265 lbs, and the lithium pack takes 6 to 8 hours to charge with the included charger. The 60v/15ah battery is rated for around 250 cycles.
