Product Description

The MotoTec Knockout 60v 1000w is a two-up seated scooter, closer in character to a small electric moped than to a stand-up commuter. A 1000w rear hub motor draws from a 60 volt bank of five 12v 12ah sealed lead-acid batteries, reaching 25 mph and covering 15 to 23 miles per charge in good conditions.

Its defining strength is carrying capacity. A double seat with a backrest and a 450 lb rider weight rating mean it can take two adults, and the high-tensile steel frame and 51-inch wheelbase are sized for that load. Tilt-adjustable handlebars let riders of different heights find a comfortable position over the 28-inch seat.

Shocks are fitted front and rear, and oversized 225/55-8 tires handle what the suspension does not, so gravel roads and rutted tracks are within reach. Hydraulic brakes at both ends provide the stopping power a 165 lb scooter carrying two people needs, and LED lighting front and rear covers visibility. A key switch and twist throttle complete the controls, with the pack recharging in four to eight hours.
