This cabinet is a weatherproof housing for the air compressor that drives a subsurface pond aeration system. It is molded from polyethylene rather than fabricated from sheet metal, so there is no painted finish to chip and no seams to rust, and the shell measures 25 inches long, 15 inches wide and 15 inches tall.

Compressors run warm, so the enclosure is ventilated instead of sealed. A fan built into the cabinet exhausts heat while louvers draw cooler air in, keeping air moving across the compressor through long or continuous run cycles. The fan comes in a 115-volt or a 230-volt version, picked to match the supply at the pond.

Perforated knockouts in the shell let the power cord and the airline leave the cabinet through a prepared opening rather than one you have to cut yourself. The tan color is chosen to sit quietly against gravel, grass or a shoreline, and the cabinets are made in Michigan.

No fixed warranty term is published for this item. It is covered against defects in materials and workmanship on arrival, so contact Adventure Motion support with your order number and photos if it arrives faulty or does not match what you ordered, and we will confirm coverage and handle the claim.

Normal wear and consumable service life are not covered, and neither is damage from installation outside the stated compatibility or operating conditions.

How large a compressor will this hold?
The shell measures 25 inches long, 15 inches wide and 15 inches tall. no compressor compatibility list is published, so measure your compressor against those figures first. adventure motion support can check it against a particular model if you are unsure.
Should i order the 115-volt or the 230-volt fan?
Match the fan to the supply feeding the cabinet. the fan is built in, so the voltage is set by the variant you choose.
Is this cabinet lockable?
The listing for this enclosure describes the shell, fan, louvers and knockouts but does not state that it locks. if a locking enclosure is required, ask adventure motion support about the steel cabinet versions, which are described as lockable.
Why does a compressor cabinet need a fan?
A compressor gives off heat while it runs, and in a closed box that heat has nowhere to go. the built-in fan exhausts it and the louvers let replacement air in, so the compressor keeps drawing cooler air rather than its own exhaust.
Can it be left outdoors year-round?
Yes. it is a weatherproof outdoor enclosure meant to stay in place with the compressor inside it.
Where is it made?
In michigan.
