This 30A, 120/240V manual transfer switch supports up to 12 circuits, configurable as twelve 120V circuits or six 240V circuits, and it's compatible with AFCI/GFCI breakers. Manual selector switches let a homeowner choose exactly which circuits run on backup power while preventing backfeeding, giving a safe way to connect a portable generator or backup power system to a home's electrical system without automatic switching.

When paired with a home energy storage system such as the MyGrid 10K, selected circuits can run on stored energy while the rest stay on the grid, which can help reduce daytime electricity use. The switch is built with a rugged steel enclosure and illuminated rocker switches that clearly show which circuits are running on generator power, and it comes as a complete connection kit with an L14-30P 30A power inlet, a 30A power cord, and pre-wired components to simplify installation with a compatible generator.

It's independently tested and certified to UL 1008 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 178.1 standards. Pre-installed breakers include two 2-pole 20A breakers (upgradable to 30A) and eight 1-pole 15A breakers (upgradable to 20A), wired with 10 AWG line/neutral and 12 AWG ground conductors.
