This 30A automatic transfer switch handles the same core job as its 50A sibling — automatically shifting selected circuits from utility power to backup power during an outage — scaled down for smaller systems and budgets. It's built on a 50A-rated bus bar for full-capacity handling of normal utility power, while safely limiting backup output to 30A, and it supports 120V, 120/240V, and 120/208V systems.

It's compatible with most solar generators, battery backup systems, and gas generators, and like the 50A model, it can remain on backup power intentionally even after utility power is restored. The switch manages up to 16 essential circuits, enough to keep key appliances running through an outage without the larger circuit count of the 50A version.

It ships with an L14-30P 30A inlet and matching power cord, plus a centralized control console for monitoring, testing, and manual override. The enclosure is heavy-duty and weather-resistant, the switch is compatible with AFCI and GFCI breakers, and it's certified to UL 1008 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 178.1.
