This 50A automatic transfer switch shifts selected circuits from utility power to backup power the moment an outage is detected, with no manual intervention needed. It's built around a 63A-rated bus bar and supports 120V, 120/240V, and 120/208V systems, making it compatible with most solar generators, battery backup systems, grid-tie inverters, and gas generators.

A standout feature is its grid-tie inverter support: the switch creates a parallel power path that lets a grid-tied solar inverter keep running during an outage and deliver power through the switch to an AC-coupled battery system, maximizing solar use even when the grid is down. It can also be left on backup power intentionally after utility service returns, rather than switching back automatically.

The switch manages up to 24 circuits and includes a CS6375 50A inlet, a matching 50A power cord, and a centralized control console for monitoring, testing, and manual override. It's housed in a heavy-duty enclosure, is compatible with AFCI and GFCI breakers, and is certified to UL 1008 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 178.1.
