The AKEZ Jaguar 52V 1500W is the most conventionally bike-shaped machine in this group: a mountain-bike style aluminum alloy frame on 20 x 4.0-inch fat tires, with a swallow-shaped handlebar, half-twist throttle and a five-level pedal assist system. It sits a step below the D9 on outright performance but shares the same MXUS 52V 1500W brushless geared hub motor, and AKEZ rates it at 33 mph (55 km/h). That is above the ceiling for every US pedal-assist e-bike class, so Adventure Motion sells it as a recreational off-road bike for trails, gravel, beach access roads and private land.

The motor is a geared hub unit rather than a direct drive, which is what gives the Jaguar its climbing character: AKEZ rates the frame for 30-degree gradients and builds overheat protection into the system for sustained climbs. Running a 52V bus instead of 48V means less current draw for the same output, which keeps the controller and wiring cooler and gives a little more headroom at the top end. A Shimano 7-speed freewheel handles the pedal gearing, so there is a real gear range for low-speed technical sections and for riding without power.

Suspension is front and rear. An aluminum alloy suspension fork takes the front, and an aluminum alloy hydraulic shock absorber handles the rear, keeping the tires in contact with the ground over washboard and rock rather than letting the bike skip. Braking is mixed: a hydraulic disc at the front where most of the stopping work happens, and a mechanical disc at the rear. The 20 x 4.0-inch anti-skid fat tires are treaded for sand, loose rock, mud and snow.

The 52V 25Ah lithium pack is removable and recharges in four to five hours. AKEZ's spec sheet puts range at 32-plus miles (50 km) on throttle alone and 45-65 miles in pedal-assist mode, though other figures appear elsewhere in their materials, so treat the pedal-assist number as an upper estimate. A backlit LCD shows speed, odometer, battery level and assist level, and the bike comes with an LED headlight, tail brake light, front and rear turn signals and a horn. Gross weight is 84 lb, rated payload is 330 lb, and AKEZ recommends it for riders between 5 ft 2 in and 6 ft 5 in.

How fast is the jaguar 52v?
Akez rates it at 33 mph (55 km/h). that is above the 28 mph ceiling for every us e-bike class, so it is sold here for off-road and private-land riding rather than as a street-class bicycle.
How does it compare to the akez d9?
Both use the same mxus 52v 1500w hub motor, but the d9 runs a higher-output 42a controller, a dnm adjustable air shock and wider 4.5-inch tires. the jaguar is the more conventional mountain-bike-shaped build on 4.0-inch tires with a hydraulic rear shock.
What range should i plan for?
Akez's spec sheet lists 32-plus miles (50 km) on throttle alone and 45-65 miles in pedal-assist mode. other figures appear elsewhere in their material, so plan around the lower end and treat the pedal-assist number as a best case on easy ground.
What brakes does it use?
A hydraulic disc at the front and a mechanical disc at the rear. the hydraulic front handles the majority of braking force.
How steep a hill can it climb?
Akez rates grade ability at 30 degrees, and the geared hub motor includes overheat protection for sustained climbing.
What rider height does it suit?
Akez recommends riders between 5 ft 2 in and 6 ft 5 in, with a rated payload of 330 lb.
