The BougeRV 12V 400W ShadePower Rigid Solar System Kit is a complete off-grid power bundle for RVs, cabins, camping setups, and emergency backup. The kit pairs two 200W N-Type ShadePower rigid solar panels with a 40A MPPT charge controller, a 100Ah/1280Wh LiFePO4 battery, and a 2000W pure sine wave inverter, giving you everything needed to capture, store, and use solar energy in one system.

The ShadePower panels use N-Type solar cells rated at up to 25% efficiency and include built-in bypass diodes that keep power flowing even when part of the panel is shaded, helping avoid the steep output drop that affects many conventional panels. The Sunflow 40A MPPT controller regulates charging for LiFePO4, sealed, gel, and flooded batteries and includes Bluetooth connectivity so charging status can be checked from a phone. The 100Ah LiFePO4 battery is built for thousands of charge cycles and includes a battery management system with low-temperature charge cutoff.

Rounding out the system, the 2000W pure sine wave inverter converts stored battery power into clean, stable AC output suitable for fridges, fans, lights, coffee makers, and other everyday appliances, with layered protection against overload, short circuits, and ground faults. Because the system is modular, additional compatible panels or batteries can be added later to expand capacity.

How much power can this 400w kit generate per day?
Under good sun exposure, the two 200w panels can generate roughly 1.6–2 kwh per day, enough to run a fridge, fan, lighting, and small electronics.
Does shading really affect the panels this much?
The shadepower panels use bypass diodes to route around shaded cells, so they can still produce up to about 85% of their rated output when partially shaded, versus a much steeper drop on standard panels.
Can i expand this system later?
Yes. the kit is modular, so compatible panels or additional batteries can be added later depending on your mppt controller and wiring setup.
What can the 2000w inverter run?
The inverter delivers a continuous 2000w (4000w peak for 1 second), enough for a portable fridge, fans, lights, a coffee maker, and small electronics.
Is the battery compatible with cold weather?
The lifepo4 battery includes low-temperature charge protection that cuts off charging below freezing and resumes once the battery warms slightly, protecting the cells from cold-related damage.
