The BougeRV 200W Solar Bimini Top doubles as sun shade and a power source for boats, combining an integrated N-type solar array with a traditional bimini canopy. The panel is rated around 25% efficiency and is split into four independently wired cell groups, so shading from a radar arch, mast, or antenna over part of the array doesn't necessarily take down the whole system.

The canopy itself is made from 600D marine-grade polyester over an anti-rust aluminum frame, giving it waterproofing and UV resistance along with resistance to salt-air corrosion. A push-to-deploy design lets it go up or come down quickly, which matters when you need to clear a low bridge or secure the boat before a fast tow.

It ships as a complete kit that includes the frame, canopy, mounting hardware, and a multi-adapter cable (MC4 to XT60, DC5521, or DC7909) so it can plug directly into most portable power stations, or feed a 12V marine battery system through a separate solar charge controller. It's available in 3-bow and 4-bow configurations across five width ranges to fit different boat sizes.

How do i choose the right size?
Measure the straight-line distance between your boat's mounting points, not the curve of the hull, and match it to the closest of the five width ranges from 54 to 96 inches.
Does it still generate power in partial shade?
Yes, the panel is wired in four independent groups, so shading over one section doesn't stop the rest of the array from producing power.
