Can i run the fridge without connecting it to the included battery?
Yes. the fridge can also run directly on 12v/24v dc power, 100-240v ac through the included adapter, or solar input, so the battery is optional day-to-day.
Can both zones be set to the same temperature?
Yes. although the compartments cool independently, you can set both to fridge or both to freezer mode if you don't need dual-purpose storage.
How is the solar panel meant to be used with this kit?
The included solar panel charges the detachable battery, which in turn powers the fridge, so you can keep the system running during extended off-grid trips.
What capacity should i choose?
43qt suits smaller trips or vehicles with limited space, 52qt is a good all-around size, and 61qt offers the most storage for extended trips or larger groups.
Does the fridge freeze food?
