The Bubble Pro Max is the three-diffuser step in Scott Aerator's subsurface aeration range, aimed at larger ponds and small lakes where oxygen needs to reach the bottom across a wide area. Three double diffusers are positioned on the pond floor and tied back through weighted airlines to a half-horsepower compressor standing on shore. Nothing sits on the water, so the surface stays clear for fishing, swimming or simply the view.

Subsurface aeration works by delivering air low and letting physics do the rest. The compressor feeds each diffuser, which converts the air into a fine bubble column. Those columns climb toward the surface and drag deep, oxygen-depleted water with them, and that water releases trapped gases and absorbs oxygen when it reaches the top before circulating back down. Spreading three diffuser stations across the pond keeps that turnover happening in several places at once rather than in one narrow plume.

Depth determines how far each diffuser's influence extends, which is why the Max is rated on a sliding scale. Scott Aerator lists roughly three-quarters of an acre in water 5 to 8 feet deep, an acre and a half from 9 to 12 feet, and three acres between 13 and 16 feet. In deep ponds the same three diffusers circulate four times the surface area they manage in shallow water.

The Max is also called out as a strong de-icing option. Kept running through winter, the rising water column prevents ice from sealing over the diffuser locations, which gives gases a path out from under the surface. Compressor housing is a choice at purchase: no enclosure, a weatherproof cabinet, a steel cabinet with a cooling fan and ground base, or a lockable deluxe steel cabinet.

What's Included

  • Three double diffusers for bottom placement
  • Three 100-foot lengths of 3/8-inch quick-sink weighted airline tubing
  • Half-horsepower rocking-piston air compressor in either 115 V or 230 V
  • Valved air outlet assembly with individual hose controls and a pressure relief valve
  • All fittings and clamps required for assembly
  • Compressor cabinets are separate options and are not part of the base system

Compressor

  • Compressor: 1/2 hp rocking piston
  • Voltage options: 115 V or 230 V
  • Air outlet: Valved assembly with individual hose controls and pressure relief valve

Aeration System

  • Diffusers: Three double diffusers
  • Airlines: Three 100 ft lengths of 3/8 in quick-sink weighted tubing
  • Fittings: All required fittings and clamps included

Pond Coverage by Depth

  • 5 to 8 ft deep: Up to 3/4 acre
  • 9 to 12 ft deep: Up to 1 1/2 acres
  • 13 to 16 ft deep: Up to 3 acres

Ordering

  • Manufacturer part number: 44100 (115 V) / 44100.23 (230 V)
  • Cabinet options: None, weatherproof, steel with fan and ground base, or deluxe lockable steel

  • Three double diffusers distribute oxygen across several zones of a large pond at once
  • Half-horsepower rocking-piston compressor runs from shore with no electricity in the water
  • Three 100-foot weighted airlines sink to the bed without additional anchoring hardware
  • Individual hose controls on the valved outlet let airflow be balanced diffuser by diffuser
  • Covers up to three acres in ponds 13 to 16 feet deep, three-quarters of an acre in shallower water
  • Identified as an effective de-icer for keeping ice from sealing over in winter
  • Choice of 115 V or 230 V, with weatherproof, fan-cooled steel or lockable steel cabinet options

This system carries a two-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase, to the original owner.

Contact Adventure Motion support with your order number and a description of the fault to start a claim. Warranty inspection is handled at the factory, with the owner prepaying shipping in and replaced parts returned prepaid.

Routine service items such as diffuser membranes and compressor filters are maintenance parts rather than warranty items, and damage from improper wiring or operating outside the rated voltage is not covered.

How large a pond will the bubble pro max handle?
Coverage depends on depth. scott aerator rates it at about three-quarters of an acre in water 5 to 8 feet deep, roughly an acre and a half at 9 to 12 feet, and up to three acres between 13 and 16 feet.
What does a double diffuser do differently?
Each of the three stations uses a double diffuser, which puts more diffusing surface at that spot than a single unit would. the result is a denser bubble column from each location, which is what drives the upwelling.
Where does the compressor go?
On shore. only the three airlines and the diffusers are submerged, so there is no electrical equipment in the pond itself.
Can i run it year round?
Yes. the max is specifically identified as a good de-icing choice, and running it through the cold months keeps openings in the ice above the diffusers so gases can vent.
How far from shore can the diffusers be placed?
Each diffuser is supplied with a 100-foot length of weighted tubing, so that is the working distance from the compressor for each station before extra airline would be needed.
Do i need to pick a cabinet?
No. the compressor can be ordered with no enclosure, or with a weatherproof cabinet, a steel cabinet that adds a cooling fan and ground base, or a deluxe lockable steel cabinet if the equipment will sit somewhere exposed or unsecured.
