The Centrex 3000 NE uses a continuous-flow design suited for very heavy cottage demand or medium residential applications. As the drum rotates, compost progresses through the extended 3000-series chamber before automatically dropping into the collection housing at the end of the unit. Under typical operating conditions, the drum does not need to be reversed for emptying.

It is designed for use with an ultra-low-flush toilet (sold separately), and multiple toilets can be connected if required. The system can also be converted to an AC/DC configuration with an optional conversion kit.

Composting capacity

  • Residential use: up to 5 adults or a family of 7

  • Weekend or vacation use: up to 8 adults or a family of 10

Electrical Specifications

As the CENTREX 3000 NE does not have a built-in heating element or fan, the only additional part available to assist in evaporation is the optional 12 volt fan

Installation of a 12 Volt fan is optional, but it is recommended for heavy seasonal or residential use
