The Scott Aerator Clover Fountain for small residential ponds is a half-horsepower display fountain named for the shape its spray leaves on the water. A brass center nozzle sends a tall column straight up while four angled jets throw water outward, and the four outer streams land in a clover-leaf footprint around the central plume. On this half-horsepower model the pattern climbs to about 20 feet high and spreads roughly 30 feet across, which suits backyard ponds and compact water features.

Behind the pattern is an oil-free submersible motor in a stainless-steel housing, turning at 3,450 rpm and moving 60 gallons per minute on 0.37 kW. The motor has no oil to change and requires no control box, so installation comes down to anchoring the unit and providing a protected circuit. It is offered as a 115-volt or 230-volt single-phase 60 Hz motor, and three-phase and 50 Hz builds are available for installations that need them.

The fountain needs at least 36 inches of water depth and is anchored with two 25-pound weights or concrete blocks plus two nylon ropes, none of which are included in the box. The standard submersible cord is 70 feet of 12-gauge, with a plug fitted on the 115-volt version, and longer cords including a 100-foot length can be ordered. A GFCI is mandatory on the supply circuit, 115-volt installations should stay within 100 feet of the main breaker, and power should be disconnected whenever swimmers are in the pond.

Alongside the visual effect, the constant movement of 60 gallons a minute helps circulate the pond and work oxygen into the water, which supports fish and other aquatic life. The motor is approved for fresh and salt water and designed to run 24 hours a day. A four-light LED set is available if the pond will be viewed in the evening, and light kits can be ordered with the fountain or added afterwards. Scott Aerator manufactures these units in Holland, Michigan.

Scott Aerator covers this unit with a five-year warranty against motor failure and a one-year warranty against factory defects on all other components, extended to the original owner from the date of purchase.

Warranty service is handled at the factory. A unit needing inspection must be sent in with shipping prepaid by the owner; once the fault is confirmed, replaced parts are returned with shipping prepaid. Contact Adventure Motion support with your order number before sending anything in and we will start the claim.

Damage from improper wiring, running the unit without a GFCI, operating it outside its rated voltage, freezing in a dry unit, or physical impact is not covered.

What is the minimum pond depth?
36 inches. the fountain needs that much water so the motor intake stays above the bottom.
Which voltage should i order?
The 115 v motor is fine when the fountain sits within 100 feet of the main breaker. for longer distances, use the 230 v motor. the circuit must be gfci protected either way.
Is a control box required?
No. the oil-free submersible motor runs directly off a gfci-protected circuit with no control box to mount or wire.
What do i need to anchor the fountain?
Two 25-pound weights or concrete blocks and two nylon ropes. neither is supplied with the fountain.
Can it be installed in salt water?
Yes. the stainless-steel oil-free motor is rated for both fresh water and salt water.
How long is the power cord, and can i get a longer one?
A 70-foot 12-gauge submersible cord is standard, and longer cords, including a 100-foot length, can be ordered.
