This is the revised rear rack for the Himiway D7 and D7 Pro (Cobra Pro). It is the newer version of the platform, with carry handles worked into the frame so the bike is easier to lift or manoeuvre by the back end, and with pre-drilled mounting holes for aluminum plates — the fitting that lets you bolt a rear basket on top rather than strapping one down.

The load path has been reinforced where it matters: reinforcement plates sit behind the mounting holes, which is the point a loaded rack normally starts to flex. Rated capacity is 55 lb (25 kg), and the design was put through 100,000 vibration cycles, so it is built for repeated loaded use rather than occasional light duty. The platform measures 21.6 x 8.3 x 13.7 inches.

Two configurations are available. The rack on its own suits riders who already have their rear fender sorted; the rack kit adds the matching rear fender, which is the version to choose if you intend to run a fender, since the fender mounts to this rack and has nowhere to attach without it.

Choosing Between the Two Versions

  • Rear Rack — the rack alone, for bikes that do not need a rear fender fitted
  • Rear Rack kit (With Rear Fender) — rack plus the matching rear fender, supplied together as one kit
  • The rear fender has no mounting point without this rack, so pick the kit if a fender is part of the plan

Compatibility

  • Fits: Himiway D7 and D7 Pro (Cobra Pro)
  • Rear fender: Mounts to this rack — cannot be fitted without it
  • Rear basket: Mounting holes provided for aluminum basket plates

Capacity & Dimensions

  • Weight capacity: 55 lb (25 kg)
  • Size (L x W x H): 21.6 x 8.3 x 13.7 in
  • Durability testing: Verified through 100,000 vibration tests

Variants

  • Rear Rack: Rack only
  • Rear Rack kit: Rack with matching rear fender

  • 55 lb (25 kg) rated capacity for shopping runs and loaded touring
  • Integrated handles make the bike easier to lift and position
  • Pre-drilled holes accept aluminum plates for mounting a rear basket
  • Reinforcement plates behind the mounting holes stiffen the load path
  • Validated through 100,000 vibration cycles
  • Available as a rack on its own or as a kit with the matching rear fender

This part is covered against defects in materials and workmanship on arrival. Himiway does not publish a separate warranty term for replacement parts bought on their own, so contact Adventure Motion support with your order number and photos if something arrives faulty or fails early, and we will confirm coverage and handle the claim.

Wear items such as tires, inner tubes, brake pads and brake rotors are consumables and are not covered beyond transit damage. Damage from crashes, incorrect fitting, modification or use outside the part's rated limits is also excluded.
