The Dock Plate is the standard mounting bracket for a dock-mounted AquaSweep or De-Icer. It is fabricated from stainless steel and intended to stay bolted to a dock, deck edge or similar structure for the long term, giving the unit a fixed, solid anchor point over the water.

This is the baseline mount in the Scott Aerator dock lineup, and it suits a flat dock surface the plate can be fastened to. Two other mounts cover different dock types: a dock built on round metal posts takes the Dock Post Bracket, and a metal dock or comparable metal frame takes the Dock Truss Mount, which attaches without drilling into the structure. Either of those replaces the Dock Plate rather than working alongside it.

The Dock Plate is offered on its own or bundled with the optional Dock Mount Quick Release Adapter. That adapter lets the unit be lifted off the plate and set onto another one, so owners who install plates at several points along a dock can work one machine across multiple problem areas instead of leaving it fixed in one spot. The AquaSweep or De-Icer itself is not part of this listing and is purchased separately.

Choosing the Right Dock Mount

  • Dock Plate: the standard mount, fastened to a flat dock or deck surface for long-term installation
  • Dock Post Bracket: for docks built on round metal posts, and it replaces the Dock Plate
  • Dock Truss Mount: for metal docks and similar metal frames, attached without damaging the structure, and it replaces the Dock Plate
  • Dock Mount Quick Release Adapter: an add-on that lets the unit be moved between multiple dock plates
  • The AquaSweep or De-Icer is sold separately in every case
