The Dock Post Bracket mounts a dock-mounted AquaSweep or De-Icer to a dock built on round metal posts. Many docks have no flat edge to bolt a plate to, and this bracket solves that by clamping to the post itself, giving the unit a secure anchor without needing a deck surface. It is rated for use in both fresh and salt water.

Fitting this bracket takes the place of the standard Dock Plate rather than adding to it, so you choose one mount or the other based on how your dock is built. If your dock does have a flat surface, the Dock Plate is the simpler route; if it is a metal dock or metal frame, the Dock Truss Mount attaches without drilling into the structure.

The bracket comes in two strengths, matched to the motor it has to hold. The Standard version is intended for one-third and one-half horsepower AquaSweep and De-Icer units. The HD Max version is the heavier-duty build for three-quarter and one horsepower 115 V motors, which put more load and thrust into the mount. Pick the version that matches your unit, and note that the AquaSweep or De-Icer is sold separately.

Choosing Standard or HD Max

  • Standard: works best with one-third and one-half horsepower AquaSweep and De-Icer units
  • HD Max: the industrial-strength version for three-quarter and one horsepower 115 V motors
  • Both versions mount to docks with round metal posts
  • Either version replaces the standard Dock Plate
  • Flat dock surfaces use the Dock Plate; metal docks and frames use the Dock Truss Mount
