This is a replacement fire base for the Arteflame Classic 40" grill, updated with a redesigned airflow path. It drops into the grill without any welding required and delivers substantially better airflow than the original fire base design.

The improved airflow helps the grill grate reach searing temperatures — up to roughly 1,000°F — for better crust and char on meats. The fire base itself lifts out easily, which makes clearing accumulated ash a quick, straightforward job rather than a chore.

Arteflame grills and accessories carry a limited warranty against manufacturer's defects in material and workmanship, running from the date of purchase (warranty term varies by product — the CORTEN steel fire bowl typically carries a longer structural warranty than accessories; consult the product listing for specifics). The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship. It does not cover normal weathering of CORTEN steel (which is expected and part of its design), damage from negligence, improper use, unauthorized modifications, or damage from accidents.
