The Eunorau FLASH 2.0 is a full-suspension fat tire e-bike built around the idea of carrying more battery than usual. It rides on CST 20 x 4.0 inch tires over 20 inch alloy rims, which keeps the wheelbase short and the footprint wide for sand, snow and loose trail, and the 6061 aluminum frame has mounting points for additional packs rather than one fixed battery bay. Total payload capacity is 440 lbs, the bike itself weighs 82 to 92 lbs depending on how many batteries are fitted, and Eunorau recommends it for riders from 5'2" to 6'4".

A 52V 1000W Truckrun mid-drive motor rated at 220 N.m sits at the bottom bracket, which keeps the weight low and centered instead of out at a wheel, and it reads both a torque sensor and a speed sensor so assistance responds to pedal pressure rather than just wheel rotation. There are five levels of pedal assist plus a thumb throttle, and top speed is 20 mph. The standard battery is a 52V 16Ah pack; an optional 52V 21Ah top tube battery and a 52V 17Ah down tube battery can be added, and Eunorau's 220 mile figure is for all three fitted at once and ridden in the lowest assist level. The included 4.0A smart charger handles whichever packs are on board.

Both ends are sprung: an EXSHO STRONG-DH fork with 80 mm of travel, compression adjustment and a lockout at the front, and a Eunorau 290 mm double spring suspension at the rear. Hydraulic disc brakes with four-piston calipers and 180 mm rotors front and rear deal with the weight, and the levers include a motor cutoff switch. The drivetrain is an 8-speed Shimano setup with a thumb shifter, and shift detection is tied into the motor so it eases off as you change gear. The BC281 LCD display pairs with Eunorau's GO app for trip records, ride data and over-the-air updates; the battery-powered headlight switches on from the handlebar pad, and the taillight is built into the battery box and comes on automatically under braking. The long padded saddle leaves room for a second rider within the bike's 440 lb payload, and aluminum pedals and a tool kit are included.

One thing to check before you ride. At 1000W, this motor is above the 750W ceiling in the U.S. federal definition of a low-speed electric bicycle, and classification is decided state by state rather than nationally. Depending on where you are, a bike at this power level may be treated as an electric bicycle, as a moped, or as a motor vehicle, which can mean registration, licensing or insurance, or limit you to private property. Checking your state and local law, and the posted rules of the specific roads, bike paths and trails you plan to use, is your responsibility as the rider.

All e-bikes comes with a peace of mind

How does the three-battery system work, and is the 220-mile range realistic?
The flash 2.0 ships with a 52v 16ah battery and accepts two optional additions: a 52v 21ah top tube pack and a 52v 17ah down tube pack. with all three fitted, the quoted range is 220 miles (354 km), but that figure is measured on pedal assist level 1, the lowest setting. riding at higher assist levels, on hills, or into wind will bring it down well below that, so treat 220 miles as a best case rather than a typical day.
What motor does it have, and is it a street-legal e-bike?
The flash 2.0 uses a 52v 1,000w truckrun mid-drive motor with 220 n.m of torque, and tops out at 20 mph. the 1,000w rating is above the 750w ceiling that us federal law uses to define a low-speed electric bicycle, so whether it is treated as a bicycle depends on your state. some states apply registration, licensing, insurance, or off-road-only restrictions at this power level. confirm your local e-bike classification rules before riding on public roads or bike paths.
How much does it weigh, and how much can it carry?
Depending on how many batteries are installed, the bike weighs between 82 and 92 lbs. total payload capacity is 440 lbs, which covers the rider plus cargo. at that weight, lifting the bike onto a roof rack or carrying it up stairs is realistically a two-person job; a hitch rack rated for heavy e-bikes is the easier answer, and pulling the batteries first lightens the frame.
What rider height does it suit, and what kind of terrain are the tires for?
Recommended rider height is 5'2" to 6'4". it rolls on cst 20 x 4.0" fat tires on 20-inch alloy rims, a setup that floats better than narrow tires over sand, gravel, dirt, and packed snow while still being comfortable on pavement.
What brakes, gearing, and suspension does it come with?
Braking is a 4-piston hydraulic disc setup with 180 mm rotors front and rear, and the levers include a motor cutoff switch so power drops the moment you brake. gearing is a shimano 8-speed with a thumb shifter. suspension consists of an exsho strong-dh fork with 80 mm of travel, compression adjustment and lockout, plus a 290 mm double rear spring suspension.
Can i ride it on throttle alone, or do i have to pedal?
Both are available. a thumb throttle provides power without pedalling, and there are five levels of pedal assist driven by the motor's torque and speed sensors for riders who prefer to pedal. ride data shows on the bc281 lcd display, which also pairs with the eunorau go app for trip records, calorie tracking, and over-the-air updates.
