Heybike Saturn Moped Style Ebike - Recreational Off-Road Use Only

The Heybike Saturn is the heavyweight of Heybike's moped-style pair, built around a 52V Galaxy eDrive hub motor rated at 1000W continuous, peaking at 1800W, and producing 95 N·m of torque. That is a significant step up from the Titan's 65 N·m, and the chassis is sized to match: 103 lb in single-battery form, a 46-inch wheelbase and a planted, stable feel that favours steady high-speed cruising and loaded riding over quick direction changes. A twist throttle delivers power the moment it is turned, with cadence sensing handling pedal assist.

Battery capacity is the second decision point. The single-battery Saturn runs a 52V 18.4Ah pack good for 30 to 50 miles depending on conditions, while the dual-battery configuration doubles that to 52V 36.8Ah and stretches range to between 60 and 100 miles. Top speed is 28 mph, and PAS and throttle speed settings can be adjusted either through the Heybike app under Personalize and Speed Settings, or directly on the bike's display. The complete bike carries UL 2849 certification and charges from a 58.8V 3A charger.

Suspension travel is generous for a machine of this size. The hydraulic front fork offers 140mm of travel, considerably more than most fat-tire e-bikes carry, and a 55mm rear spring unit completes the package, so ruts, washboard and rough ground pass underneath without jarring the rider. Twenty-inch by four-inch fat tires provide the grip and cushioning, and braking comes from two-piston hydraulic discs on 180 x 2.0mm rotors with a motor cut-off that kills power the instant a lever is squeezed.

Practical equipment is comprehensive. Payload capacity is 330 lb, there is an extendable rear rack, and the bike arrives with fenders, rack and rear mirrors included — the rear fender pre-installed, with the front fender and rear rack supplied in the box for fitting. A TFT color display pairs with the Heybike app, and lighting covers a headlight with electric horn plus a taillight integrating brake light and turn signals. Electrical components are rated IPX6 with the complete bike rated IPX5, and the frame suits riders from 5'3" to 6'3".
