The Himiway A7 is a full-suspension step-through commuter built for the kind of riding that happens every day - the trip to work, the grocery run, the school drop-off, the Sunday loop through the park. Where a fat-tire bike prioritises float, the A7 prioritises road manners: 27.5 x 2.4 e-bike tires with reflective sidewalls roll faster and steer more precisely on pavement, while still being wide enough to shrug off potholes, tram tracks and gravel shortcuts.

Comfort comes from suspension at both ends - a hydraulic fork with 120mm of travel, a lockout and a 15 x 110mm thru-axle, plus rear travel built into the frame - combined with a wide padded saddle and a stem that adjusts through 60 degrees. The result is an upright position you can hold for an hour without your wrists, neck or lower back complaining, on a frame you step through rather than climb over.

The 48V hub motor produces 70Nm and is fed by a 48V 15Ah Samsung/LG 21700 battery rated IPX6. Himiway publishes roughly 40 miles on throttle alone and up to 70 miles on pedal assist. The A7's sensor switches between torque mode, where assistance scales with your pedal pressure, and cadence mode, where it holds a steady level while you spin, and there is an automatic assist mode that adjusts output to the terrain so you are not constantly changing levels. A thumb throttle is fitted. The bike ships set to 20 mph and can be configured anywhere from 4 to 28 mph, covering Class 1, 2 and 3.

For daily utility the A7 carries a MIK HD-compatible rear rack rated to 120 lb, so panniers, baskets and child seats clip on and off without tools, and it has full-coverage fenders and integrated lighting with a brake indicator. Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes on 180mm rotors handle the stopping, an 8-speed Shimano drivetrain with a 13-32T freewheel covers the gearing, and total load capacity is 400 lb. The frame is offered in two sizes, fitting riders from 5'1" to 6'3" (Regular) and 5'3" to 6'1" (Large).

What range can i expect on a commute?
Himiway publishes around 40 miles on throttle alone and up to 70 miles on pedal assist. a typical mixed commute with moderate assist sits comfortably in between; cold weather, hills and heavy cargo shorten it.
What is the top speed and class?
The a7 ships limited to 20 mph and can be set from 4 to 28 mph in the display, covering class 1, 2 and 3. a thumb throttle is fitted. set the limit to match the rules for your bike lanes and paths.
Which frame size should i pick?
Himiway lists the regular as 5'1" to 6'3" and the large as 5'3" to 6'1". if you are between the two, the 60-degree adjustable stem gives a lot of room to fine-tune bar height and reach.
What can the rack carry?
The mik hd-compatible rear rack is rated at 120 lb, and total capacity for rider plus everything on board is 400 lb. the mik mount means compatible baskets, bags and child seats click on and off without tools.
What is auto mode for?
Auto pedal assist adjusts motor output to the terrain and your effort automatically, so you are not reaching for the assist buttons at every hill or light. you can override it with the five manual pas levels at any time.
Is it comfortable for someone with back or joint issues?
That is the design brief - step-through frame, full suspension, a wide padded saddle, an upright position and an adjustable stem all reduce strain. set the saddle height first, then tune the stem angle until your shoulders and wrists feel relaxed.
