This is a complete hydraulic brake replacement for one end of the bike, built to the same specification as the assembly fitted at the factory, and it carries the electronic cutoff that signals the controller to drop motor power the instant you pull the lever. Front and rear are listed as separate options because the hose lengths differ: front assemblies run a 950mm hose on most models and 1000mm on the mid-drive Rambler, while rear assemblies run between 1650mm and 1850mm depending on the frame.

Options are grouped by model and by the brake series the bike uses, covering the Zebra, D5 and D5 Pro, D5 2.0 and the 20-inch D5 2.0, Cobra and Cobra Pro, D7 and D7 Pro, A3, A7 and A7 Pro, C1, C3, C5 Ultra, Escape, Big Dog, Rhino and both Rambler drivetrains. Hydraulic systems have to be bled properly and the cutoff wiring reconnected to the controller, so unless you have the tools and the experience to do both, this is a job for a bike shop.

Specifications

  • Brake type: Hydraulic disc with electronic motor cutoff
  • Sold as: One end per option, so order front and rear separately
  • Front hose length: 950mm on most models, 1000mm on the mid-drive Rambler
  • Rear hose length: 1650mm to 1850mm depending on model
  • Options available: 31 model and position combinations

  • MT200 series: A7, A7 Pro
  • JAK series: Rambler (hub-drive), C1 (rear)

  • Built to the same specification as the brake the bike was supplied with
  • Electronic cutoff drops motor power the moment the lever is pulled
  • Hose length matched to the model and to front or rear fitment
  • Covers the Himiway range across six brake series
  • Hydraulic actuation gives consistent lever feel and strong, controllable stopping
  • Thirty-one model and position options so the assembly suits the bike

This part is covered against defects in materials and workmanship on arrival. Himiway does not publish a separate warranty term for replacement parts bought on their own, so contact Adventure Motion support with your order number and photos if something arrives faulty or fails early, and we will confirm coverage and handle the claim.

Wear items such as tires, inner tubes, brake pads and brake rotors are consumables and are not covered beyond transit damage. Damage from crashes, incorrect fitting, modification or use outside the part's rated limits is also excluded.

Does one option cover both brakes?
No. each option covers one end of the bike. order the front and the rear option separately if you are replacing both.
What is the electronic cutoff for?
It tells the controller to stop motor assistance as soon as you begin braking, so the motor is never pulling against the brakes.
Which option does my bike need?
Choose by model and by front or rear. the option names also show the brake series, such as e350 or mt200, which should match the series currently on your bike.
Is a rotor included?
Rotors are listed as a separate item. contact adventure motion support if you need both at once.
Can i fit this myself?
Hydraulic brakes need bleeding and the cutoff wiring reconnected to the controller. unless you have done that work before, have it fitted professionally.
Why do the hose lengths differ between models?
Frame size and cable routing vary across the range, so the hose is cut to suit each model and each end of the bike.
